Hello,
I’m Cathy Adele, I live in Lancashire, England with my Irish husband, Rob and my toddler daughter, Orla.
I’m a Lancashire girl and am rather proud of my gem of a county. I love it’s hills, woods and rivers, I like it’s little towns and quirky tea rooms, (I love the sensible Lancashire approach to prices too!). The weather may be a bit nippy but there is a lot of warmth in the people.
The other thing about me is that I absolutely love to write. It took me too many years to realise that I am simply a happier person on the days when I write. I like writing stories, I love delving deep into bigger truths of faith and hope, and I love writing about things that are just wonderfully ordinary. Things like cake, and walks in the woods and dresses with skirts that swirl when you twirl!
Blogging seemed like the perfect outlet, so here we are! Welcome to my little corner of the internet, I hope you find something to make you smile.
Thank you for stopping by,
Cathy Adele
Hi there,
We recently came across your blog (well me, Tiffanie) and I really appreciate your mix of books/reviews, as well as other lifestyle bits and pieces. I’m looking forward to reading “The Hundred Dresses”. We are nominating you for a Liebster Award, with details here: http://mtbooookish.wordpress.com/2013/12/13/liebster-nomination-warning-very-long-post/.
We would love to hear your responses to the questions at the end of the post (it’s pretty long).
Best,
Tiffanie and Miranda (P.S. We promise that we’re not spam bots, just trying to interact and connect with bloggers!)

Cool! I am just writing up my answers now. Thanks for nominating me! Will have to get my thinking cap on of who to nominate now! x
Hi. My name is Maria Cassar. I am currently studying at the Peter Symonds College. As part of my Extended project qualification I am researching the role of women in marriage in the novels Pride and Prejudice and Bridget Jones Diaries.
I was wondering if you would be able to help me with my research by providing my ideas that I am able to reference in my work.
Thank you for your time.
Kind Regards,
Maria.
Hi Marie,
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. It sounds like an interesting project. How can I help?
Cathy,
